Thanks to a special triage tool, DocDot gives caregivers and healthcare professionals the ability to transform the diagnosis, management and treatment process to a fast, easy and safe process.
The DocDot app uses a unique combination of light signal processing and AI to convert the light reflected from blood vessels in your face into highly accurate real-time vital sign measurements. And it does all of this using only a smartphone camera.
The science behind this is remote photoplethysmographic (rPPG) measurement of key vital parameters via smartphone camera (oxygen saturation, heart and respiratory rate and HRV, in baseline condition or after 6-minutes  walking test*) 

This offers a new way of telehealth services by enabling: 

  • Monitoring which can be programmed and used for further statistical modelling in real-life conditions
  • A web-based control panel which gives the caregiver the results in real-time on a cloud-based architecture, in order to profile risk levels, assign priorities, schedule and execute televisits and teleprescriptions.
  • The possibility to map the geo-referencing of assessments performed, either individually or in aggregate for patients in care.

In addition, DocDot allows sharing of its data, exported and imported from, to, and with all major national and regional platforms, including geo-referencing data, and clinical management platforms used by GPs. This is all done through a technological infrastructure compliant with current European regulations, in particular with regard to privacy and security of data and processes.

DocDot uses a light signal processing technology called remote photoplethysmography (rPPG), to enable smartphone cameras to record the light reflection by the blood vessels flowing beneath your skin. The blood volume in this microvascular tissue varies in response to changes in respiration, blood pressure, and other vital processes, allowing these variations to be converted, using proven parameters, into vital sign measurements. Independent clinical trials show over 90% of measurements to be as accurate as hospital-grade monitors.
